Today @urseriouslyateacher and I took a spontaneous trip to @dallaszoo. I have never been (at least that I can remember) and it’s a fun activity before I have chemo this week. Also we got to eat lunch with the lionesses so that was pretty awesome 👏🏽

Finished this book and I really enjoyed it! I loved the story and the characters. The pacing was excellent and the story was fantastical but also had some realism which was very enjoyable. I did get a few of her other books so I’m excited about those as well!

Whale watching trip today (along with seeing the Mendenhall Glacier) - we did get to see quite a few whales 🐋 but honestly even if we didn’t, I have really been enjoying the scenery. Came across this dry cabin on Survival Island. This cabin has no running water, electricity, or internet. The folks who live here would have to head into Juneau by boat for supplies. What an incredible place to live and melt into nature 🌲

The #cruisingcrew 😍 first port: Ketchikan,AK. Beautiful weather until the wind started picking up - dang near blew us away. Gorgeous scenery, a few tasty treats, and lots of walking. Only a half day so we didn’t do any excursions but we will be in the next port!

Photo from Sea Day. We’ve got a bit of rough water going on and I’m so thankful that Brenda the #breastcancer has allowed me to have a wide variety of anti-nausea drugs away. One of the only good things from that #B. The underlying nausea feeling has been kicking my 🍑 all day but Adrian and I did do a couples massage this morning - it was lovely 🥰 cute sweatshirt from my momma and in case anyone is wondering - yes it’s cold lol 😂

You didn’t know I had a green thumb did you?! 👍🏽 Cherry is about to pop off with a big harvest! 🍅 I’ve been telling her daily what a great job she’s doing and I think it’s really paying off! This is the first time I’ve successfully grown tomatoes so here’s to hoping I’ll be growing so many more when I start implementing my garden plan - I’d love to start setting it up in the fall when the weather is cooler.
